AskDoby.com exists for one reason: to help dog owners stop their dogs from suffering through preventable itching, scratching, and skin allergies.
Our story
It started with Doby. When Doby was about a year old, She began scratching — constantly. Red patches, chewed paws, restless nights. We went through four vets, prescription foods, medicated shampoos, and an embarrassing amount of money before a veterinary dermatologist helped us piece it together.
The triggers turned out to be things hiding in plain sight: our laundry detergent, our fabric softener, the wrong shampoo. Once we identified and removed them, Doby got better. Not perfect — canine allergies rarely disappear entirely — but manageable. The scratching stopped. She became herself again.
Along the way, we kept detailed notes on what worked and what didn’t. AskDoby.com is where we share all of it, so other owners don’t have to spend years figuring it out the hard way.
